Sacramento Junior Tennis Fund
SPONSORSHIPS

Junior Tennis Fund Sacramento is a collective giving organization that uses 100% of member dues for current year grants and the endowment fund.

It is the generosity of our Sponsors that keeps JTFS operating.  Our current budget shows expenses of:ï‚·

  • Administrative (printing, mailing, supplies)ï‚·

  • Advertising (website, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube)ï‚·

  • Special events for current and potential members (1 per year)ï‚·

  • Website maintenance (domain name and site provider)

We would like to encourage you to become a sponsor so that more kids will be playing on more courts in our communities.  Even the smallest sponsorship will ensure that the Junior Tennis Fund will continue to support youth tennis for under-served kids.

Together we can make a difference with our kids!!

Awarding of Annual Grants

Budget: $7,000

Each year JTFS awards 3-5 grants to public entities to help them further their already-existing tennis clinics. The grants vary in size from $1500-$1800. The grant period is from September 1st to mid-October. If a P&R District is interested, please contact us at info@juniortennisfund.org. The application can be found at juiniortennisfund.org during the grant period.

Program Impact

Over the course of our nine years, we have awarded over $33,000 to community tennis programs in under-served areas. Children in these areas are benefiting from tennis opportunities, life skills training, and reliable, life-long sport opportunities. Over 600 new players have participated.

High School Tennis Team Support

Budget: $10,000

Our high school tennis team grants (boys and girls) continue to grow. By the end of 2023 we have awarded $1000 grants to 14 local high schools. These teams asked for help with equipment, including machines that give the players a chance to learn top spin. The money can be carried over into the next year. All these tools help novice players become more competitive in their high school season and encourage them to keep playing year-round. We accept slightly used rackets from fellow tennis players, have them re-furbished by Courtside Tennis and Volleys and distribute to high school teams who have players in need.

Program Impact

This program has reached a great many high school age players giving them a chance to play a team sport, keep their grades up and have a positive peer group in their high school years.
