2019 Grant Recipients
For 2019 we are pleased to announce that Junior Tennis Fund Sacramento has awarded
• Carmichael Park: $500
This grant will offer full scholarships to low-income youth ages 5-12 in beginner clinics at Carmichael public courts.
• Liberty Towers (Antelope): $1800
Tennis 2.0 is designed to spark an interest in low-income, younger kids in the Antelope area. The goal is to give these young people the skills that will help them play competitive tennis in high school and beyond.
• Woodland: $1800
The New Participant Youth Tennis program is intended to build on last year’s Junior Tennis Fund Sacramento grant award and offer free youth tennis instruction. These classes will be offered to youth between ages 6-16 years.
• In addition to our yearly grants this year we will offer semi-private lessons at public courts by
JTFS-approved coaches.
• We also have planned at least one tennis clinic in the first half of 2020.
Again it will be held at public courts, with JTFS-approved instructors running it. For further information
